Intern - Week 5

Week 5 is a "putting it all together" week.

During the rest of the week you should be working closely with your supervising teacher to continue taking responsibility for the following:
-grading
-participating and hopefully leading welcome calls and monthly calls
-listening in on DBA's
-learning tracking in VSA
-logging contact in VSA
-loading the announcement page for the week
-planning your next tutorial sessionsAlso, this is a big week for you, you should be hosting your first tutorial session in Elluminate.

Hosted Elluminate Session: Lessons 2.3 & 2.4

I hosted an Elluminate session for the Geography Team. My main goal was to direct teach 2.3 and 2.4 and trying to work in as many interactive activities for the students as I could.

Intern - Week 4

Week 4 – Immersion into Online Classrooms, Part 2
o Complete 5 Welcome or Monthly calls, log contact in VSA
o Practice hosting tutorial session in Elluminate
o Complete assigned grading in supervising teacher’s classroom (Should be responsible for several assignments)
o Load AP for this week/Create AP for next week
o Answer student emails in Educator (Those you feel comfortable with.)

Intern - Week 3

Week 3 – Immersion into Online Classrooms
o Participate in 5 Welcome or Monthly calls, work with supervising teacher to log contact in VSA
o Complete practice grading assignment and AP upload in Educator on Tuesday
o Complete tutorial storyboard for Week 5 tutorial session
o Send email in Educator to students introducing yourself to students and announcing your tutorial sessions
o Complete assigned grading in supervising teacher’s classroom (2-4 assignments)
o Create AP to be used for next week.
o Complete course overview presentation, review with supervising teacher, send to students in CA View
